Our Youth Theatre Productions class is designed for teenagers aged 12-18 who are passionate about all things theatre! This dynamic class combines the study of diverse theatrical genres with hands-on experience in creating and producing original stage productions. Perfect for aspiring actors, playwrights, and directors looking to deepen their understanding of theatre and collaborate on exciting new projects.
What to Expect:
- Exploration of Theatre Styles: Delve into a range of theatrical styles, from classical and contemporary to improvisational and experimental, gaining insight into different methods of storytelling and performance.
- Script Development: Work on writing and developing your own scripts and stage pieces, learning the fundamentals of playwriting, character creation, and narrative structure.
- Production Skills: Gain practical experience in all aspects of theatre production, including directing, stage design, costume and makeup, lighting, and sound, working together to bring your creations to life.

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fixation Academy runs in accordance with school term times. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. Any extra rehearsals that may be requested by Fixation Academy during the lead up to performances will fall within the subscription monthly fee and will NOT result in any additional charges. Additional events hosted by Fixation Academy, including parties, taster days and holiday camps are not included within your subscription fee and are at an additional, optional cost.
Class fees are calculated by the number of classes in the year, split into 11 affordable monthly payments during months September-July. Fees are still due during term holidays (excluding the month of August). Fees are payable on the 1st of every month for the month ahead. If you start half way through a month, you will be charged a 'cover fee' for the number of classes attended before your subscription starts. E.g if you join mid September, your first subscription payment will be due on 1st October, and will include a 'cover fee' for the number of classes you attended in September, plus your normal subscription amount for October.
If your child wishes to change or cancel a class, please give one month’s written notice via email to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk. Your subscription payment will be cancelled after the one month (4 weeks) notice period. Please note, we are unable to refund any already paid subscription fees. Our cancellation policy will apply at all times.
Please note all students taking part in our yearly show will need to pay an additional non-refundable Show Fee of £50.00. This includes a Fixation Show T-shirt as well as hire of selected costumes worn during the show. This is charged within the Spring Term and parents and carers will be notified by email when this amount is due. If payment of the Show Fee is not met by the set deadline, your child will not be included in the yearly show.
