Twirl, leap, and dance into the magical world of ballet! Our Baby Ballet class is designed for little ones aged 3-5, offering a joyful introduction to the basics of ballet through creative movement, music, and imaginative play. This class provides a nurturing environment where children can express themselves, build coordination, and develop a love for dance.
What to Expect:
- Ballet Basics: Children will learn simple ballet steps and positions, such as pliés, tendus, and twirls, all taught in a fun and engaging way.
- Creative Movement: We encourage creativity and self-expression through guided improvisation and playful dance activities that spark the imagination.
- Music & Rhythm: Kids will dance to a variety of music, developing their sense of rhythm and musicality while exploring different tempos and styles.
- Storytelling Through Dance: Each class incorporates elements of storytelling, allowing children to embody characters like fairies, animals, or their favourite storybook heroes.
- Coordination & Balance: Exercises are designed to help children improve their balance, coordination, and gross motor skills, all while having a blast!
- Confidence & Social Skills: Through group activities and gentle encouragement, children build confidence, learn to follow instructions, and develop positive social interactions with their peers.

Subscription: SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fixation Academy runs in accordance with school term times. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. Any extra rehearsals that may be requested by Fixation Academy during the lead up to performances will fall within the subscription monthly fee and will NOT result in any additional charges. Additional events hosted by Fixation Academy, including parties, taster days and holiday camps are not included within your subscription fee and are at an additional, optional cost.
Class fees are calculated by the number of classes in the year, split into 11 affordable monthly payments during months September-July. Fees are still due during term holidays (excluding the month of August). Fees are payable on the 1st of every month for the month ahead. If you start half way through a month, you will be charged a 'cover fee' for the number of classes attended before your subscription starts. E.g if you join mid September, your first subscription payment will be due on 1st October, and will include a 'cover fee' for the number of classes you attended in September, plus your normal subscription amount for October.
If your child wishes to change or cancel a class, please give one month’s written notice via email to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk. Your subscription payment will be cancelled after the one month (4 weeks) notice period. Please note, we are unable to refund any already paid subscription fees. Our cancellation policy will apply at all times.
Please note all students taking part in our yearly show will need to pay an additional non-refundable Show Fee of £50.00. This includes a Fixation Show T-shirt as well as hire of selected costumes worn during the show. This is charged within the Spring Term and parents and carers will be notified by email when this amount is due. If payment of the Show Fee is not met by the set deadline, your child will not be included in the yearly show.
