Our Musical Theatre classes are suitable for all levels, beginner to intermediate and advanced… there is a role for all in musical theatre! Kickstarter, Junior and Senior age groups are split and rotate through learning the three core elements, Acting, Singing and Dance over our 2-hour weekly class.
Our Musical Theatre class focuses on developing skills in confidence, musicality, vocal strength, projection, harmony, pitch, flexibility, expression, character building, storytelling, script work, singing technique as well as movement in fundamental dance styles, including Jazz, Ballet, Street Dance, Commercial and Lyrical Dance.
Our Musical Theatre teachers use their experience and knowledge to guide and train students towards becoming versatile and ‘triple threat’ style all round performers.
Musical Theatre classes progress towards yearly full-scale productions as well as other performance opportunities throughout the year.
UNIFORM
All students attending classes are expected to wear uniform to class.
Uniform for our Musical Theatre classes:
- Any black bottoms (leggings/shorts/tracksuit bottoms)
- Academy t-shirt (personalisable with children's name)

COVID-19
We are continuing to stay updated on government guidance to ensure our classes are safe and compliant. If in the case that we are forced to stop our in person classes, all classes will be moved over to our online platform, Zoom, and continue as normal. In this case, we will not be able to offer any refunds as all classes will continue until we are able to move back to in person.

£53.50 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fixation Academy runs in accordance with school term times. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. Any extra rehearsals that may be requested by Fixation Academy during the lead up to performances will fall within the subscription monthly fee and will NOT result in any additional charges. Additional events hosted by Fixation Academy, including parties, taster days and holiday camps are not included within your subscription fee and are at an additional, optional cost.
Class fees are calculated by the number of classes in the year, split into 11 affordable monthly payments during months September-July. Fees are still due during term holidays (excluding the month of August). Fees are payable on the 1st of every month for the month ahead. If you start half way through a month, you will be charged a 'cover fee' for the number of classes attended before your subscription starts. E.g if you join mid September, your first subscription payment will be due on 1st October, and will include a 'cover fee' for the number of classes you attended in September, plus your normal subscription amount for October.
If your child wishes to change or cancel a class, please give one month’s written notice via email to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk. Your subscription payment will be cancelled after the one month (4 weeks) notice period. Please note, we are unable to refund any already paid subscription fees. Our cancellation policy will apply at all times.
Please note all students taking part in our yearly show will need to pay an additional non-refundable Show Fee of £50.00. This includes a Fixation Show T-shirt as well as hire of selected costumes worn during the show. This is charged within the Spring Term and parents and carers will be notified by email when this amount is due. If payment of the Show Fee is not met by the set deadline, your child will not be included in the yearly show.
