Take your acting skills to the next level with our LAMDA Acting Entry Level-Level 1 (Grades 1-3). This class is designed for performers who have some experience in acting or have completed the Introductory level and are ready to deepen their understanding of the craft. Through a blend of technique, practice, and performance, students will prepare for their LAMDA Entry & Level 1 examinations, all while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.

- Vocal & Physical Expression: Enhance your vocal projection, diction, and body language to create more dynamic and convincing performances.

- Improvisation & Devising: Sharpen your improvisation skills with more challenging exercises and begin exploring the art of devising original scenes and monologues.
- Scene Study: Work on longer and more intricate scenes, focusing on relationships, conflict, and emotional truth in performance.
- LAMDA Exam Preparation: Receive detailed guidance and personalised coaching to prepare for your LAMDA Entry and Level 1 exams, with mock performances and constructive feedback.

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fixation Academy runs in accordance with school term times. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. Any extra rehearsals that may be requested by Fixation Academy during the lead up to performances will fall within the subscription monthly fee and will NOT result in any additional charges. Additional events hosted by Fixation Academy, including parties, taster days and holiday camps are not included within your subscription fee and are at an additional, optional cost.
Class fees are calculated by the number of classes in the year, split into 11 affordable monthly payments during months September-July. Fees are still due during term holidays (excluding the month of August). Fees are payable on the 1st of every month for the month ahead. If you start half way through a month, you will be charged a 'cover fee' for the number of classes attended before your subscription starts. E.g if you join mid September, your first subscription payment will be due on 1st October, and will include a 'cover fee' for the number of classes you attended in September, plus your normal subscription amount for October.
If your child wishes to change or cancel a class, please give one month’s written notice via email to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk. Your subscription payment will be cancelled after the one month (4 weeks) notice period. Please note, we are unable to refund any already paid subscription fees. Our cancellation policy will apply at all times.
Please note all students taking part in our yearly show will need to pay an additional non-refundable Show Fee of £50.00. This includes a Fixation Show T-shirt as well as hire of selected costumes worn during the show. This is charged within the Spring Term and parents and carers will be notified by email when this amount is due. If payment of the Show Fee is not met by the set deadline, your child will not be included in the yearly show.
